At halftime of the match against Real Sporting, FC Andorra, led by its president Ferran Vilaseca, presented the armband dedicated to Meritxell Day to Priest Ramon from Canillo.

The armband, specially designed for the National Day, incorporates the characteristic arches of the Sanctuary of Meritxell, designed by Ricard Bofill, as its main element. Andorra wore it in the matches against Real Valladolid and Real Sociedad B, thus joining the celebration of one of the most significant dates on the Andorran calendar.

With this presentation, the club aimed to continue an initiative that highlights the symbols and heritage of the country, and that has allowed Andorra to connect with the celebration of its National Day.
