During Meritxell Day week, Andorra will join the celebration of the National Diana with a commemorative captain's armband that will be worn in the next two league matches against Real Valladolid and Sporting de Gijón. The design pays homage to the country's patron saint and incorporates as its main element the characteristic arches of the Sanctuary of Meritxell, one of the country's most representative architectural icons, the work of Ricard Bofill.

With this initiative, the club aims to take part in one of the most significant celebrations in the Andorran calendar and highlight one of the most recognized heritage symbols of the Principality. The armband, which combines the colors of FC Andorra with the architectural elements of the Sanctuary, will be worn by the tricolor captain both at the José Zorrilla Stadium and at the Encamp Stadium in the match against Sporting de Gijón.
