The FC Andorra will join the first Retro Matchday in the history of LaLiga, an initiative that will take place from April 10 to 13 and will turn that matchday into a celebration of the historical legacy of Spanish professional football.
The proposal will involve all the clubs of LaLiga EA Sports and LaLiga Hypermotion, who will take to the field with special kits inspired by iconic designs from their history. In the case of FC Andorra, the club will also be part of this initiative that aims to connect the past and present of football through a unique thematic matchday.
In addition to the teams, the referees will also participate in this action by wearing a special kit designed by the Technical Committee of Referees of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, reinforcing the collective nature of the initiative.
The Retro Matchday is born with the aim of paying tribute to the history and symbols that have marked generations of fans, turning historical kits into a bridge between different eras of football. The initiative also seeks to unite football and culture, and the new retro collections of the clubs will be presented on March 19 as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.
In addition to the kits, the matchday will feature a specific audiovisual experience with graphics and visual elements inspired by retro aesthetics both in television broadcasts and digital content.
In this way, FC Andorra will be part of a joint initiative that will highlight the history and identity of Spanish professional football clubs, in a celebration that will unite the past, present, and future of the game.
