Andorra showed personality and quality during their visit to Riazor, but the match proved too long for them, and they ended up seeing Dépor overturn Josep Cerdà's opening goal in the second half.
In an imposing setting and against a team with a lot at stake, the tricolors entered the match with determination. In fact, within less than five minutes, Yeray and Cerdà had already threatened the opposing goal, and in the 18th minute, the Cantabrian winger had the best chance to break the deadlock. Meanwhile, the Galicians had barely troubled Owono's goal, and Andorra had total control.
In the 34th minute, the tricolor goal finally arrived after an excellent collective play, finished off by one of the most in-form players of the league in this second half, Josep Cerdà. The Balearic winger scored his tenth goal of the season in the Segunda División, and a few minutes later, the team from the Principality almost doubled their lead in a play that was saved by the home goalkeeper.
The first clear chances for Dépor didn't come until the final stretch of the first half, although in the two minutes of added time, the hosts could have equalized. Owono was crucial in the first action, and just after, Nsongo's shot went narrowly wide of the post.
The halftime break, however, seemed to benefit the Galicians more, as they came out for the second half with an extra gear. Just as the half began, Mario Soriano unleashed a long-range shot that resulted in the equalizer (48'). This goal gave Dépor more momentum, and indeed, they were superior in the second half. Finally, in the 81st minute, Zakaria maneuvered inside the box and tipped the balance in their favor.
