Andorra has earned the right to dream and look upwards. On the day their mathematical survival was confirmed, the tricolors achieved a resounding and convincing victory that leaves the team just six points away from the promotion playoff zone.
Despite the final 0-4 scoreline, the match required patience. In fact, despite a shot from Alende from outside the box, the first big chance came from Duk in a quick local counterattack. Later, Manu Nieto responded in the 24th minute, but the goal came in the 41st minute when Villahermosa set up Marc Cardona alone in the box, and the '22' made no mistake.
The goal set the match up perfectly for Andorra, who came out in the second half with an extra gear and sealed the win. Alende, after a long combination play, scored the second with a powerful strike (53'), and Josep Cerdà, following a great chance from Manu Nieto, capitalized on the rebound to secure the victory.
With the 0-3 scoreline, the game was already downhill. Just in case, Owono made a couple of trademark saves to prevent Leganés from closing the gap, and in the 80th minute, Le Normand scored the fourth.
