Our U16 team trusts in its options

Great victories for the U16 and U13 teams, in a very positive weekend for the tricolor base teams. The U19, although they could not get the three points, saved a draw thanks to a goal in the last minute.

U16 2-1 Balàfia | Until the end

Our U16 team will fight until the end to get out of the relegation positions and this was demonstrated in the visit of Balàfia to the Principality. In a direct duel in the lower zone, Bryan Pubill's team had a great first half and dominated until the visiting goal with twenty minutes left. Despite the obvious suffering in the last minutes, however, Andorra managed to take the three points.

The first half was largely dominated by the tricolour team, who first threatened with a shot on the post by Nacho Fernández. Pol Bescós was the author of the two local goals, but the result could have been even wider before the break. In the second half, the Catalan team continued to dominate, although they were unable to translate this into a dangerous goal. The 2-1 lead in the 60th minute made the match a little out of control, but despite this, the three points remained in the Principality.

Mollerussa 0-3 U13 | One more step

A relatively calm victory for U13 team, who are still on their way to the final goal. In a match dominated from start to finish, Andorra took the three points thanks to a goal by Eric da Costa in the first half and by Julio and Iker Canal in the second half.

The tricolors had to chew the match patiently because despite playing most of the time on the other side of the pitch, the goals were slow to come. It wasn't for lack of opportunities, but until the 20th minute, Aldo Papadopulos' team didn't start to get on track for victory thanks to da Costa's goal. In the second half, everything continued on the same path and the team sealed the match with two more goals.

U19 2-2 Reus | A draw in the last minute

U19 managed to equalize thanks to a goal from César in the last breath. The previous 90 minutes had been a movie that had already been repeated in recent weeks: those from the Principality did not play a bad game but saw how the rival was more successful in both areas.

The first dangerous approach was from the tricolor Solanes, but just after the first quarter of an hour, the goal from Reus arrived on a lateral cross. Despite being 0-1, Filipe Busto's boys reacted well enough and had chances to restore equality in the scoreboard, especially at the feet of Abu. The goal, finally, arrived in the last minute of the first half after a great move by Saül that culminated in Solanes in the back of the net.

At the restart, as soon as it started, the Reus team took the lead again and the second half was a 'I want but I can't' from Andorra, who sought an equalizer in every possible way. Finally, in the 90th minute, César took advantage of a good play by Regalo to save a point.
