Two and a half months later, Andorra has finally been able to celebrate a necessary and well-deserved victory that frees the tricolor team. The team from the Principality played a very mature game and ended up tipping the balance with a goal from Minsu in one of the last plays of added time.
After a vigorous start from Valladolid, Andorra managed to calm the game and bring it to their ground by meticulously taking care of the ball and building attacks with patience. Thus, the best visiting chance came in a great play down the left wing that ended with a clear shot from Manu Nieto blocked by the legs of a defender.
On the other hand, the Castilian team looked dangerous every time they approached the rival area, especially taking advantage of the tricolor team's ball losses. And of course, when needed, Andorra found the miraculous saves of Yaako, who prevented the local goal on a couple of clear occasions.
In the second half, the course of the game did not change much, with an Andorra extremely in control of the ball and that could have opened the scoring in a quick transition where Lautaro was stopped by a good save from goalkeeper Guilherme. On their part, the Valladolid team had their best chance with a simple shot from Biuk that, fortunately, was poorly struck.
But the tricolor team ended with more energy, and the last minutes were entirely theirs. Dani Villahermosa headed over the crossbar, and in the midst of Andorra's momentum, Josep Cerdà found Minsu in space, and the Korean did not miss.
