Almost five months after their last victory, in a very close setting to Lasesarre, Andorra have once again collected the three points away from the Principality in a crazy match. Barakaldo took the lead at the start, the tricolours came back in two minutes of frenzy just before the break and saw how, at the restart, the home team were left with one man less. However, the Basque squad managed to equalize and it was not until added time that Álvaro Peña, with a header, gave the three points to Beto Company's team.
The worst-case scenario came true in the 6th minute when Pablo Santiago received a ball outside the box and opened the scoring. The goal hurt Andorra, who had suffered in the first half. When they managed to overcome the first local pressure, however, the team managed to reach the area with danger and Clemente, with a shot close to the crossbar, and Manu Nieto enjoyed the first dangerous arrivals. Shortly after, Alende tried it, in a lateral free-kick, while Barakaldo also was close to the second goal in another action from a set piece.
But when the match seemed to die with a local advantatge at half-time, two minutes of true madness allowed Andorra to turn the score around. First, Manu took advantage of a good pass into space, beat his marker and, from inside the area, sent the ball into the back of the net. And just two minutes later, Cerdà made the second (44').
In the second half, the tricolours came out well and Lauti almost scored the 1-3. Everything seemed under control and the match seemed to become even more easy when Borja García was sent off. But paradoxically, it was from that moment on that Barakaldo took a step forward and came close to scoring on a couple of clear occasions. Until in the 72nd minute, Eka Molina equalized.
The match then became very uphill, with Barakaldo being much more comfortable in disorder and lack of control. Thus, the visitors had to go through some moments of suffering where 3-2 seemed closer than 2-3. Luckily, the team managed to calm the situation, transfer the game to the opponent's half in the last minutes and was lucky enough to found the winning goal when Álvaro Peña managed to head a delicious cross from Luismi in to the back of the net.
