Tough stumble at Málaga's field

Poor match from Andorra at La Rosaleda. The tricolors were soundly defeated in a game where they did not perform well and, moreover, were not accurate in the final shot to convert the few but very clear chances they had.

In the first half, Málaga was superior to Ibai Gómez's team, and early on Yaako had to intervene to save the Andalusian goal. But in the 20th minute, after a loss in ball possession during the build-up, the locals did not forgive, and Larrubia opened the scoring. The 1-0 did not change the dynamics of the match, although Andorra had the two best chances before halftime. First, after a combination with Jastin, Marc Domènech hit both posts, and in the last play of the first half, Théo Le Normand saw his shot cleared off the goal line by a local defender.

The second half started with good news for the tricolor team as Málaga was reduced to ten men due to Brasanac's expulsion. But from that point on, Andorra failed to capitalize on their numerical advantage and left La Rosaleda battered. The tricolor's second half was far from good, and apart from Manu's goal when the game was already decided, everything went wrong. Málaga scored their second through former tricolor Lobete, Villahermosa missed the target in a clear chance to close the gap, and Olabarrieta hit the post. Towards the end, the game turned chaotic: Jauregi sealed the win for the locals, Manu Nieto scored the 3-1, and in stoppage time, Jauregi struck again to close the scoreline.
