In the mixed zone of Montilivi, the center-back and one of the team captains Diego Alende spoke about Andorra's dominance with the ball but also acknowledged that the team lacked "slightly clearer chances." For Alende, the early goal by the Girona team was key as it allowed the Catalan side to step back and wait in a mid-block: "We struggled to create."

Even so, the Galician defender also wanted to highlight the improvement of the tricolors in this last month of competition: "We are becoming a more recognizable team; the locker room is calm."

Finally, Alende wanted to downplay the importance of Jesús Owono's mistake in the second goal. Without hiding that it was an error, the center-back wanted to emphasize the goalkeeper's work: "Normally, he gives us more than he takes away. It's a mistake like any of us can make."
