Extremely important victory for Andorra, which has now achieved three consecutive matches adding points after defeating Castellón in a very complete game. In fact, the victory could have been even more decisive, but the team missed too many chances.

The tricolors had a very strong start. Andorra came out very focused and, in the first quarter of an hour, sent the ball into the back of the net twice, although one of them was later disallowed for offside. It came from a good pass by Moró Sidibe, which Efe Akman finished brilliantly with an excellent move. However, VAR disallowed the play due to a prior offside by Moró.

In the 13th minute, the goal that did count on the scoreboard arrived when Jordi Cano reached the byline and set up a perfectly prepared 1-0 for Moró Sidibe, who made no mistake. It was the reward for a strong start by the tricolors, although Castellón also wanted to make their presence felt. As the minutes passed, the visitors began to dominate and gain ground, although Andorra had the two clearest chances just before halftime: Diego Díaz shot weakly into the goalkeeper's hands, and in the very next play, Jordi Cano shot over the crossbar.

In the second half, Andorra had to work hard against a Castellón side that, for many moments, took control of the ball. Even so, apart from a great save by Owono to prevent the equalizer, the clearest chances once again belonged to the Principality's team. Carrique, after getting behind the defense, was denied by Matthys, as was Rijkhoff. The referee even awarded a penalty in favor of Andorra, but once again VAR intervened to overturn the decision.

In the final minutes, Owono was decisive again with a crucial save, and the scoreline remained unchanged.
