FC Andorra keeps growing

Andorra has got again a point in another away game, in this case a draw at Lugo. The tricolours have once again kept a clean sheet, but they have not been clinical enough in the other area in a game without many chances.

Lugo started strong and in the 5th minute tried it with a shot that Morgado deflected very well. Apart from that, neither team came close to the rival goal with danger beyond a lose  shot by Álvaro Martín.

At the second half, the game started a little more lively and Andorra gained presence in the final third, especially since the entry of Luismi Redondo. These were the best minutes for Ferran Costa's team, who were able to take the lead on the scoreboard in two actions by Manu Nieto: in the first, the number 9 did not find the goal after a good back pass from Lauti, and three minutes later he was met with the response of the local goalkeeper.

With the game more dynamic, Lugo also took advantage of it to start getting near Oier's goal and threatened in a couple of set pieces. As the minutes went by, the Galicians took control of the match and finished better in the final stretch. In fact, they could have taken the victory in an action that the assistant referee disallowed the goal for offside.
