At FC Andorra, we are aware that, as a professional entity dedicated to a mass sport like football, we also have a social obligation to give back to the community. For this reason, this year we are repeating the initiative "One Team, One Community", which aims to provide support and visibility to some of the social associations in our country.
September, Addiction Awareness Month
The match against Burgos, the first home game of the season, will serve as the kickoff for this season's project, with the month dedicated to Projecte Vida, the Andorran association focused on addictive disorders from a first-person perspective. Throughout the month, we will carry out a series of actions to give visibility and amplify the voice of the association and all the issues stemming from addictive disorders.
Additionally, all of this will be supported by the two ambassadors chosen for this month, two of our new signings, defenders Gael Alonso and Imanol García de Albéniz. Their jerseys will also be raffled off during the last match of September at the FAF Stadium in Encamp.
In this first match, the president of Projecte Vida, Eva Tenorio, along with vice president Josep Castellón, will present the team captain with the solidarity armband that we will wear in all matches during the month. At the end of September, the armband will be auctioned through Gol Solidari to raise funds for the association.
