Andorra will join the celebration of the 47th Andorra la Vella Fair with a commemorative captain's armband that will be worn this Monday during the league match against Burgos, coinciding with the weekend when one of the country's most significant events takes place.
With this initiative, the club aims to give visibility to the Andorra la Vella Fair and strengthen its connection with the capital and the country's social fabric. The armband was presented this Friday morning to the mayor of Andorra la Vella, Sergi González, during the inauguration ceremony of this year's fair.
The Andorra la Vella Fair has its origins in the old livestock and agricultural fairs, which brought together farmers and ranchers from the country to exchange and acquire products before the arrival of winter. Over the years, the event evolved into a multisectoral showcase of reference in the Pyrenees, now bringing together companies, institutions, associations, and visitors around the country's commercial and social activities.
In this way, Andorra once again uses the captain's armband as a commemorative element to join one of the key events in the social and institutional life of the Principality.
