The FC Andorra Genuine completed a new experience this past weekend at the LaLiga Genuine Moeve, with the second phase of the season taking place in Gijón. The tricolor team played two matches at the Mareo sports city, owned by Sporting de Gijón, during a weekend marked by both football and camaraderie among all participants.
In terms of sports, the Andorran team faced Burgos on Saturday afternoon, in a match where the opponent showed greater superiority. However, on Sunday morning, the team delivered a great performance against Racing de Ferrol, in a very evenly matched game where the tricolors competed until the end. Despite the defeat, Andorra Genuine left a very good impression with positive phases of collective play and three goals: two by Rafa and one by Marta.
Beyond the results, the weekend once again highlighted the spirit of the competition, based on camaraderie and respect. The players of FC Andorra shared moments with participants from other clubs, strengthening relationships that are increasingly strong between teams.
The tricolor delegation also enjoyed some parallel activities during their stay in Gijón, with time for sightseeing in the city on Friday, visiting the aquarium on Saturday morning, and participating in the official presentation of the venue at the El Molinón – Enrique Castro ‘Quini’ stadium. In short, a very positive experience that reinforces the inclusive values and camaraderie that define LaLiga Genuine.
