FC Andorra announces the signing of Julen Lobete, an attacker from Celta. The striker, who played in the Dutch First Division with RKC Waalwijk last season, arrives on a season-long loan.
Julen Lobete (Lezo, 18/9/2000) is a striker trained in the youth categories of Real Sociedad who last summer changed the Basque team for Celta. However, this season he has played on loan at RKC Waalwijk where he has made 29 appearances -12 starts- and has scored 4 goals. Beyond the Dutch league, Lobete also has experience in Spanish professional football after combining the first team and Real Sociedad's reserve squad in the 2021/22 season: 13 matches and 2 goals in the top flight –with a goal at Camp Nou included– and 23 games and 1 goal for the second team.
Lobete is a mobile striker –he can also play on the left side– with a great associative ability and who, until now, did not bring very good memories to the tricolour fans. The Basque attacker scored the extra time goal that eliminated Andorra from the 20/21 promotion game in Extremadura.
