Jesus Clemente: "We only think about Nàstic"

The Badajoz player spoke to the media before Wednesday's open training session. These were his words.

Statements by Jesus Clementes

"It's the key moment of the season and we have to show our best version if we want to fight for the play-offs. In the last few games I think we've seen a good side of the team, and due to small details we're more focused or more involved in the game".

"It's an unfinished business that we have as a team, to compete better away from home, and I think in this last game we saw another side. And from here until the end we have to compete, win the games and now, at home, in the next game we have to show our best version".

"We're facing it like a final, it's a very important game and it can determine what we want to do from here until the end. We have to go and win the game because it's not just the three points, there's also the average, all these things at the end of the season are very important".

"Nàstic is a very complicated team, very strong at the back, very organized. From the first moment they know what they are playing for, you will not have easy chances because it is a team that works a lot, from the striker to the defender. We will try to counteract all this, look for our best version and we will get the three points because we have a great team".

"We only think about Nàstic because it is a final. Every week counts a lot and we cannot think beyond it because we would be wrong".

"It is a reflection of the entire league: no one wins easily and everyone can lose to everyone, and you should not look at where the opponent is in the standings because each game is very complicated and you cannot relax at any time".

"If we think beyond it, we are wrong. We are coming from a very complicated season, we need to know where we come from and what it has cost us to enter the play-offs. We need to assess where we are and only think about the next game".
