FC Andorra announces the signing of Iker Benito, a winger from Osasuna's reserve team. Benito, who will turn 21 in August, arrives in the Principality on a season-long loan.
Iker Benito (Miranda de Ebro, 10/8/2002) is a classic winger, skilled in the 1v1, very fast and who develops well with both legs and on both sides. Trained in the youth categories of Osasuna, Benito has played the last three seasons in the reserve team, consolidating himself as one of the great prospects of the Tajonar team: so much so, that in the last two years he has enjoyed opportunities in the first team -4 games in 2021/22 and 4 more this last season-.
The winger has started in the last two visits of Osasuna's to Camp Nou, as well as he was at Cádiz stadium a couple of months ago. With the reserve team, Benito has played 32 games and 3 goals this season, while two years ago he was a key player in the promotion of the red team to Primera RFEF with 28 games and 5 goals.
