Ferran Costa: "We lost the game in two minutes"

The team did not have their best day and ended up falling because of two goals in two minutes; this is how the coach Ferran Costa assessed Andorra's defeat in the press conference after the match.

"What happened is that we lost the game in two minutes. I think the start of the game was good with Luismi's opportunity which was very clear and we were fine but I think we stayed in the action of the goal received. We disappeared for a minute and the opponent with a lot of energy and spurred on by his people scored the second and it is very difficult with a score of 2-0 away from home. The following 20 minutes of the first half have not have been good because I think the goals have hurt us a lot and in the second half the team made the attempt with arrivals but without success in the last third".

"On a day where the field was not good there is one thing where we could not fail: at the level of duels and disputes we were far below them and it was a differentiating point for them to win. In the second half, we reached three quarters well enough but we lacked a little more practicality and finishing plays. I think we had too many arrivals for the few shots we completed. I value the second half of the team in a complicated situation and we are very clear about what we have to extract from this game so that it doesn't happen to us again and we can grow".

"I was not surprised. They have differential players and it is a team that has been generating a lot in all the games they have played. At the back they have conceded very little and have been very reliable, which is what had penalized them in the first few days".
