"First of all I want to thank the fans for how they support the team throughout the game. Firstly, how they have received the team and how it has helped us to get into the game, I think the team has started well and the first ten minutes have been It was a declaration of intentions... [...] In the final stretch they also helped us after the goal, an unexpected blow because I think we had the game under control and even with options to run and finish it. Our people have pushed us and the team responded by recovering with maturity, taking the blow, taking it quickly and continuing to work to win the match as a team: all the players who participated have done a brutal job. The ones who came from the bench have been decisive in getting the three points, and the other players who havenot play they have been very involved in the game."

"We're still a team under construction. We've only played nine games together, two of them official, there's a lot of new faces and we've got to bond and grow together. But we'll be a team under construction all season: not in the basic aspects in terms of identity and style of play, which I think are clear but we still have to cement it more and gain continuity during the competition, but we do have to be a team under construction in the sense that we must constantly learn things and not forget them".

"Lauti played a very good match: he worked hard, he fixed the centre-backs, he threatened their backs... He also had a high degree of concentration to maintain the defensive block, not allowing them to open the base and and pass the ball to his number 6 which is a situation in which they improve their attacks... And then Manu is a boy who feels football and we are very happy that he is here because he gives us a lot of things as a team and he will bring us a lot. That's the essence of a team: Lauti made 60 really good minutes and then Manu did the same."

"You've heard me say it many times and I'm not going to change - this is a long run and it's going to end when it has to end. Times are what they are and we play one game every seven days, we can't play 38 matches in a week. We all want the season to go well and get to April fighting for important things, but we have to be very steady, try to enjoy the way and not rush too much."
