Positive assessment at the end of the first month of the 'One team, one community' project, which this February has been launched with the month dedicated to the fight against cancer. Thus, coinciding with World Cancer Day (February 4) and International Childhood Cancer Day (February 15), the club has carried out a series of activities and actions in order to make the fight against the disease more visible and raise funds for Assandca, the Andorran Association against Cancer.
From the dedicated captain's armband to the collection of the entire ticket's funds of the last match, we have dedicated the entire month of February to giving voice to the cause with the help of our ambassadors, Álvaro Peña and Pau Casadesús, whose jerseys we also raffled off in the duel against Zamora.
Assandca is an Andorran association that works on three axes: care for those affected by cancer, dissemination of the disease and promotion of volunteering. In this sense, from FC Andorra we have tried to take advantage of the loudspeaker that being a professional football club gives us to contribute our little bit of sand to the incredible work that the association carries out.
