Once the last two games of the first round have been played, postponed due to the weather disaster that affected Valencia, the draw for the second round of Copa del Rey, which is due to be played next week, will be held tomorrow at 1 pm. And if there is one thing that is certain, it is that FC Andorra will play this tie at Estadi Nacional.
The opponent will come from among all LaLiga 1 teams present in this second round that have not been drawn previously with lower categories opponents – Real Madrid, Barça, Athletic Club and Mallorca, participants in the Super Cup, are still exempt – and the 15 LaLiga 2 teams, with a greater chance of being a rival from this second division. Be that as it may, however, as they are opponents of a higher category, the tricolours will play at home.
In this way, the KO competition will return to the Principality three seasons later: the last time was when Celta de Vigo visited Estadi Nacional in the 2021/22 season.
Possible rivals:
Pot B (LaLiga 1): Rayo Vallecano, Alavés, Valladolid, Villarreal, Leganés, Sevilla, Celta, Girona, Atlético de Madrid, Espanyol, Betis, Las Palmas, Real Sociedad, Osasuna, València and Getafe.
Pot C (LaLiga 2): Deportivo, Real Zaragoza, Racing, Cádiz, Cartagena, Burgos, Granada, Huesca, Sporting, Elche, Castellón, Almería, Eldense, Racing de Ferrol and Tenerife.
