In the last match of the season, Andorra left the Burgos field empty-handed. The tricolors were far superior in the first half and had plenty of chances to take the lead, but it was the home team that scored from a set-piece. In the second half, the Principality's team ran out of steam, and the scoreline remained unchanged.

Even though there was nothing at stake, Andorra honored football by playing a very serious and brave match. In the first 45 minutes, the visitors had almost all the clear chances, and only a lack of luck in finishing prevented the 0-1. In the 12th minute, Lauti shot just wide of the post, and just a minute later, Álex Calvo came up with an excellent individual play that miraculously did not end in a goal.

Even before the home team's goal, Owono made a good save, and the post denied Villahermosa's goal. But in the 39th minute, from a corner kick, Morante received a pass at the penalty spot and made no mistake.

Andorra had been clearly superior, but the truth is that, short on resources, the second half felt long for them. Carles Manso's team could not trouble Cantero's goal again, while Owono had to make his customary crucial save to prevent a second goal for the Castilians.
