In a joyous National Stadium, Andorra achieved a narrow victory over a direct rival in the fight for promotion. The tricolors overcame Nàstic thanks to a goal from Manu Nieto and are in third place with a five-point margin over the sixth-placed team.
Andorra entered the match with a bang, trapping their rival near their own area and quickly recovering the ball. Thus, the first to try it was Sergio Molina, with a long-range shot that was poisoned by Rebollo and ended up crossing the goal line. Incomprehensibly, neither the referee nor the assistant saw it and the match continued with a goalless draw on the scoreboard.
Shortly afterwards, Lautaro tried it with a shot that was saved by the visiting goalkeeper and, little by little, Nàstic began to stretch and the match was equalised. Without clear scoring opportunities, the tie remained until the break.
In the second half, the Tarragona team came out with another goal and Andorra found themselves uncomfortable in the first half of the match. Nico Ratti, who today celebrated his 200th match with the Catalans, had to make a couple of meritorious saves to keep the score at zero. Until the 73rd minute, the move that definitively decided the match arrived: Manu Nieto collected a ball on the edge of the area and beat the Catalan goalkeeper with a shot that was close to the post.
From there, with an advantage on the scoreboard, Beto Company's team managed the final minutes very well and if anything came close, it was the Catalans who won.
