Andorra paid dearly for a disastrous first half and ended up losing to Real Sociedad, which continues to be the tricolors' nemesis in recent years. While the performances in recent setbacks had been quite good, today Andorra did not play a good match, despite the attempt to react in the second half.

Everything that could go wrong in the first half went even worse. The tricolors played a very poor first 45 minutes, but things already took a turn for the worse when the Basque reserve team scored on their first approach. Dani Díaz received the ball at the edge of the area and, after a good diagonal move, sent the ball into the far post.

From there, it was a case of wanting but not being able. Andorra tried to threaten the opposing goal, but the chances were reduced to mere approaches. Hugo López, from a corner kick (32’), had the clearest opportunity, but right after that, the visitors scored their second goal in a quick transition. The wound deepened even further when, in the 41st minute, Rupérez scored the third.

In the second half, as expected, the story changed, and the team from the Principality came out with a different attitude, but the mountain was too steep to overturn the score. Even so, a shot from Moró grazing the post helped lift spirits, and Lautaro's goal in the 70th minute gave hope for a comeback. But at the end, the scoreboard did not move again.
