After the setback at Celta Fortuna's field, Andorra's coach, Carles Manso, appeared before the media ahead of this Sunday's match against SD Eibar. The coach explained that the team has spent much of the week analyzing the final minutes of the first two league matches, during which the tricolors lost their solidity. "We must be aware that matches last until the final whistle. We cannot give away points, and we must be a solid team for the full 100 minutes," he stated.
Despite this, Manso made it clear that Andorra will not change its identity. The coach believes that the playing style has allowed the team to create many chances and score seven goals in the first two rounds, and now the challenge is to manage leads on the scoreboard better. "Our way of playing is what will lead us to win matches. We need to learn to interpret certain moments better, but without losing our essence," he emphasized.
Regarding Eibar, Manso expects a demanding opponent with experienced players and strong offensive potential, but he insisted that the focus must be on his players' performance. "If we play at our level and stick to our game, we will be very close to achieving victory," he assured.
Finally, the coach also spoke very positively about the competition within the squad following the latest additions. Manso highlighted that having various options in all positions will raise the team's level and reiterated that more signings will only be made if they represent a qualitative leap for the project.
