"One expects a different game plan than what has been seen because we wanted to have more control and possession of the ball. But I don't know if people are aware of the great team we faced. They are a very good team and I think they took us to the limit for 60 minutes, until the goal. We did have one thing very clear: we had to score because otherwise we were dead. And I think the goal, on an emotional level, lifted us up".
"When an opponent gives you a one-on-one all over the field you have to take risks. What we were very clear about was that if our game plan was to be aerial balls to our three forwards we were dead. If we were able to connect three or four passes, that's when we would have space at the back".
"We have a goalkeeper who is simply spectacular at all levels. On a sporting level he has continued to demonstrate it as he has for many years and, on a human level, he is a phenomenon. He is always focused, attentive in his day-to-day life, he is very professional... and today he got it right at the right time".
