FC Andorra strengthens the defense with the addition of center-back Antal Yaakobishvili. The young footballer, who is the brother of current tricolor goalkeeper Áron Yaakobishvili, joins on loan from Girona.
Antal Yaakobishvili (Budapest, 12/07/2004) is a central defender with great stature who has already made his debut at the elite level with the first team of the Catalan club. In January 2024, he made his debut in a cup match against Rayo Vallecano, and just four days later, he debuted in the league. Additionally, Antal has been an important player over the past two years with Girona B, with whom he achieved promotion to Segunda RFEF.
Like his brother, Antal Yaakobishvili was born in Budapest but moved with his family to Barcelona as a teenager. He is currently a U21 international with the Hungarian national team.
