The FCA Genuine will be present at the Genuine World Cup, which will take place at the end of this month in Houston. The tricolor entity will represent the Principality of Andorra in a competition featuring teams from 50 different nations.

The team coached by Montse Sánchez will travel next Sunday, July 26, to American soil to take part in a competition that will mark the end of the season with a unique experience. With teams such as Ajax, Barça, Athletic Club, Sporting de Portugal, Rangers, or Roma, the Genuine Cup will kick off on Tuesday morning – U.S. time – and will take place throughout the week. Beyond the results, the tournament's main goal is to promote inclusion, coexistence, and the values of sport, bringing together hundreds of footballers with intellectual disabilities from five continents.

In addition to the sporting aspect, the players will enjoy other cultural and leisure activities, such as a visit to NASA's facilities, the U.S. space agency. In this way, the tricolor expedition will experience an unforgettable journey that goes far beyond football and reinforces Andorra's commitment to inclusive, integrative, and barrier-free sports.

With the help of our sponsors

This trip to Houston, like the entire Genuine project, would not be possible without the collaboration of our sponsors. The Government of Andorra and BCD Travel have actively contributed to making this participation in the Genuine Cup possible, as well as the team's regular collaborators: Andorra Turisme, the Comú d'Encamp, Abast, Innova, and Mapesa. Their support reaffirms the shared commitment to a project that goes far beyond football and works, season after season, to promote inclusion, equal opportunities, and the transformative power of sport.
