A Karrikaburu's goal gives three golden points

Andorra finished a strange week marked by change on the bench with a vital victory against Mirandés. In a game that could have won either team, the Tricolours did enough with a goal from Karrikaburu in the final stages to get three golden points.

The Principality side started stronger and in the first minute Karrika came close to open the score. After the first scare, the locals continued to dominate and in the first stages were better than their rival. In the 19th minute, the second clear chance came, but after a good assist from Iván Gil, Lobete's shot failed to find goal.

From the halfway point of the first half, the match equalised, and Mirandés began to threaten the counter-attack, although the first clear opportunity he enjoyed was not until the last play of the first half.

After half time, the match opened up even more and, in the open field, the Castilians saw that they could hurt. Andorra experienced moments of suffering as the visitors threatened to break the game through the speed of Gabri Martinez. But the team was strong and tried first with a back pass from Lobete that did not find anybody and a rocket from Iván Gil that saved Ramon Juan.

The premiere of Karrikaburu

In between, Mirandés had his best chance but, once again, an excellent Nico Ratti appeared to avoid the 0-1 lead. And in the 78th minute, in the other area, Karrikaburu has not forgiven. The striker received the ball and after a great move crossed the ball to the back of the net.

From the goal to the end, the Tricolours had to suffer hard but were finally able to celebrate three points that taste like glory.
