When everything goes your way

Andorra has achieved a very important victory, the second in a row, after defeating Córdoba in a perfect match. The tricolors practically secured the game in an almost flawless first half with three goals from their three forwards.

The effectiveness that Andorra had so often lacked this season appeared all at once at Córdoba's Nuevo Arcángel. In fact, with the first three clear chances they had, Carles Manso's team found themselves with an excellent 0-3 lead. Lauti, in the 10th minute, took advantage of a good through ball from Villahermosa to beat the Andorran Iker Álvarez in a one-on-one, while five minutes later it was Cerdà who sent the ball into the back of the net.

And in the midst of their momentum, the third goal came from a personal play by Minsu, who intercepted a pass in midfield and outpaced his two markers with a great run.

The hardest part was already done, but they had to hold on in the second half against a Córdoba team that came out all guns blazing, trying to close the gap. The truth is that between the post and Owono, they managed to save the home team's goal, but Andorra held on well and waited for their moment to kill the game on the counterattack. The final goal came from a rebound that Le Normand seized after a shot from Imanol, an initial 0-4 disallowed by the referee but eventually awarded by VAR. And just before injury time, Córdoba scored a consolation goal.
