FC Andorra and Rubén Bover are parting ways after six historic seasons full of good memories. The captain ends his contract this Sunday and will not continue to be part of the tricolour first squad. From the club we want to express our eternal gratitude for one of the most important players in the modern history of the entity.
Rubén Bover was one of the first signings of the current project. The Mallorcan arrived at the beginning of December 2018 with the team in 1a catalana and has experienced from the beginning the upward trajectory of the tricolour team in these last years. Despite the relegation this past season, Bover leaves the club with unbeatable records: three promotion and the historic debut with the tricolour club in LaLiga.
In the individual aspect, throughout these six seasons, the '21' has played a total of 181 matches in four different categories - LaLiga 2, Primera RFEF, 2a división B and 1a catalana- and has scored 21 goals. In addition, Bover has always been an important player for all the coaches he has had, becoming a leader in the locker room as well: in his second year he was already one of the captains, becoming the first team captain in the 2020/21 season.
