A very good day for the three youth teams of FC Andorra: victory for all three and the goals closer. In fact, the U19 already closed the season because it tied the permanence in Preferent with a day of margin. The U13, for its part, is already one victory away from being champion, while the U16 left the relegation zone thanks to the triumph against a direct rival like Noguera.
U19 1-0 Sabadell Nord | Job done
It has not been an easy end to the season for Filipe Bustos' team, but two consecutive victories have allowed Andorra to tie the salvation. In a head-to-head match against Sabadell Nord, the tricolours came out stronger and in the first ten minutes they already enjoyed a couple of clear opportunities to open the can. In the 8th minute, the Catalans tried with a long shot, in the only dangerous arrival of the visitors in the entire first half, but finally the local goal arrived through Saúl, which culminated a quick transition between him and Solanes in the 20th minute.
In the second half, the duel was equalized, but neither team was able to disturb the rival goal. Thus, with an advantage in the score, the tricolour team managed to make very few things happen to end up tying a victory that serves to enjoy, for one more season, the U19 team will play in Preferent.
U16 3-1 La Noguera | Out of relegation positions
Three consecutive games adding points have allowed our U16 team to escape relegation with two days to go. And the team has reacted at the key moment of the season and demonstrated this in the visit of La Noguera to La Massana. The tricolours played an almost perfect first half and, although the duel was open until the end, they deservedly tied the three points.
Bryan Pubill's boys went all out from the first minute, closing their rival near the area. Thus, in the 22nd minute, Adri Deu was finally able to translate the local dominance with 1-0 by finishing off a good cross from Ivan. After the goal, Andorra continued to attack, but on a set piece, the Lleidans equalized. Luckily, the team reacted quickly and just a minute later, Marc Ber put Andorra ahead again on the scoreboard just before halftime.
In the second half, the visitors took a step forward and managed to put the Spanish team in more difficulty, who, despite this, always had the match well under control. And just before the end, Ivan sealed the victory with a spectacular shot from the edge of the area.
U13 2-1 Bordeta Lleida | One step away from glory
A very important victory for the U13 squad, who are just one win away from being proclaimed league champions. Against Bordeta de Lleida, however, Aldo Papadopulos' team had to come back from 0-1 down at half-time. The Catalan team were superior, but they were not precise in the final few metres and the visitors took advantage of this to take the lead.
In the second half, the team came out more incisive and managed to turn the score around in the first quarter of an hour. In the 46th minute, a move between Èric da Costa and Lucas ended up being converted by Yago and, five minutes later, Lucas was again the assistant and Xavi scored the winning goal.
