Igualada 0-1 U19 | In constant progress
The older ones, led by Julián Pedernera on the bench on Saturday, continue to progress and after the draw last week they managed to get their first win against Igualada. In a fairly even game, the tricolours were very comfortable in the first half, but they lacked precision in the last pass to be able to do more damage. However, just after half an hour, Andorra took the lead with a corner kick that a local defender and Abu sent into the back of the net (32').
After half-time, the script of the match remained more or less the same, but when the home team were left with one less player (55'), the u19 team lost control. Contrary to what it might seem, with numerical superiority the tricolours began to rush with the ball and allowed Igualada to do more damage in their attacks. Not that they had many chances either, but goalkeeper Jauregui had to intervene on a couple of occasions, the clearest with a great save in the 88th minute.
U16 2-0 Escola F. Tàrrega | The first joy
U16 team had a complicated start to the league, but against Tàrrega they were finally able to celebrate the first joy of the season. Bryan Pubill's boys played a very complete game and won justly thanks to a brace from Marc Ber.
Andorra was clear that it had to start concentrated and with high levels of intensity to try to avoid conceding in the first minutes and the truth is that the team took control of the game from the start, no letting his opponent play with comfort and looking more intently for the opponent's goal. And in this context, the tricolours enjoyed a clear triple opportunity to open the scoring: first Héctor, from a direct corner kick, hit the crossbar, Diego again sent the ball to the post and, in the second ball, Ayan shot over the crossbar.
Fortunately, in the last minutes before the break, the u16 squad finally found the prize in a good action by the center-back Ivan, who overcame the lines by driving and sent a ball into the back of the defense that Marc Ber, then of a good control, finished to the back of the net (39'). The good news continued after the break and at the start of the second half, once again Marc Ber took advantage of a good cross from Diogo Vaz to score the second (47'). From there, the tricolours' pace dropped, but the visitors didn't know how to take advantage and, in fact, the best chance of the final stretch came again from scorer Marc Ber in a set piece, this time without success.
Pla Urgell 5-12 U13 | Goals and goals
U13 is a fun team to watch and that at the beginning of the year has started with the foot on the accelerator to the maximum. In a crazy game full of goals, the tricolours reigned thanks to a spectacular second half when they scored eight goals: in the first half, Andorra started well with a goal from Isaac, but in the blink of an eye Pla Urgell turn the score with two penalties. The home side extended their lead from a free kick, but u13 squad reacted quickly and turned the score around again with three goals in a quarter of an hour. Before the break, in another set-piece, the hoem team equalized.
In the second half, the tricolours improved defensively and continued to be a stinger in attack passing over their rival. Thus, with the goals of Xavi and da Costa - authors of a poker of goals -, Isaac, who completed his hat-trick, and Iker Enterríos, Andorra ended up winning with a spectacular score of 5-12.
