Right to dream

Almost mathematical permanence and the excitement of facing the end of the season with the chance to achieve great things. This is the situation for Andorra after their victory against Valladolid in a match decided by a solitary goal from Marc Cardona.

The game was not as spectacular as the previous ones, and the tricolors had to grind it out against a well-organized opponent who, however, barely threatened Owono's goal. The first chance came to Minsu after the first quarter of an hour, but his shot missed the target. Not much else happened in the first half.

The team from the Principality, however, controlled possession and persisted with patience and good play. In the second half, the script didn’t change much, although the introduction of Marc Cardona revitalized the tricolor attack. And with one of his first opportunities, the forward didn’t miss (62').

With the lead on the scoreboard, the tricolors managed the final minutes very well, with Valladolid only coming close to equalizing with a deflected header from Marcos André. In fact, Andorra had some chances to seal the game, but Marc Cardona’s shot, for instance, went over the crossbar.

Finally, with the Castilians playing with ten men due to an injury, Carles Manso’s team managed the ball very well, and the scoreline remained unchanged.
