Scheidler saves a point in the injury time

In the game against a direct opponent in the lower zone, Andorra could not get the win against Villarreal. Collado's goal in the last 15 minutes seemed to give the victory to the away team, but the Tricolours reacted well in the closing stages and Scheidler was key to save at least one point.

The Tricolours started lively and in the 12th minute, after a good transition, Pombo sent the ball into the back of the net albeit in a slightly offside position. Although this opportunity, the first half was quiet with plenty of control from Andorra but few arrivals in both areas.

After halftime, the Principality side started well by locking their rivals into their own field, but the first change was from Jorge Pascual. A few minutes later, Lobete replied with a header that saved Iker well, but not many other outstanding danger actions could be seen either.

Little by little, however, Villarreal B made steps forward and finally found the prize in the 78th minute on a long ball into the back of the defense that Collado took advantage of to beat Nico. The goal was initially ruled out for offside, but VAR ratified it. In the most difficult moments, however, the team has taken pride and thanks above all to Scheidler’ energy has achieved the equalizer.

First a defender avoided an easy shot from the French striker, who just after found the goalkeeper with a header. But just into added time, Scheidler took advantage of a pass from José Marsà to equalize the game with an excellent shot.

With 1-1 and still a long injury time ahead, Andorra tried until the end, but ran out of time.
