FC Andorra continues to get victories and, above all, accumulate good feelings in this pre-season after overcoming Huesca thanks to a goal by Josep Cerdà before the break. Ferran Costa's men were better in the first half against a LaLiga opponent and managed to resist well in the second half.
Initial superiority
The tricolours played an excellent first 45 minutes: they had more the ball, did damage in attack and hardly suffered at the back. In fact, all the chances in the first half were for Ferran Costa's men: in the 10th minute, Álvaro Peña warned with a loose shot and two minutes later the Basque midfielder had a very clear opportunity. A few minutes later, Manu Nieto tried it with a slightly deflected shot and, in the 21st minute, the goal arrived. Martí Vilà crossed to the second post and Josep Cerdà sent the ball into the back of the net with a header.
At the restart, the Aragonese team took a step forward and Andorra was forced to cede the initiative. However, well positioned behind the ball, the tricolours have resisted without much suffering beyond a dangerous header from Soko.
The changes, in the 65th minute, revitalized Andorra, who in the final stretch enjoyed some opportunity to score: Juanda found the goalkeeper, as well as Álvaro Martín, and Berto finished too wide.
