Andorra could not break the bad streak of matches without a win in an extremely even duel that was decided by a local goal in the early stages of the second half. From there, Albacete defended well, and the scoreline did not change.
The first half was back and forth without either team managing to take control. The tricolors tried through a very active Villahermosa in the opening minutes, who had the two clearest chances for the tricolors in this first half, while on the other side, Yaako had to intervene in a quick action after a throw-in.
Even so, the scoreline did not change until the second half, when the locals started the match better after the break. Lazo hit the crossbar with a powerful direct free kick, but during these moments of tricolor suffering, the 1-0 goal also came from Lazo.
After the goal, Ibai Gómez's team managed to calm the game and, little by little, began to approach Mariño's goal. Even so, Andorra could not find a way and it was not until the final minutes that the tricolors had two clear chances to equalize: however, the local goalkeeper was decisive in preventing Lauti's goal.
