FC Andorra has reached an agreement with Athletic Club to sign the young winger Aingeru Olabarrieta. The Basque footballer joins on loan and will wear the tricolor jersey this coming season.
Aingeru Olabarrieta (Luiaondo, 14/11/2005) is a winger who developed in the youth ranks of Athletic Club and has already debuted with the first team in La Liga. In fact, his first match was two seasons ago against Sevilla, but last year he also enjoyed some minutes in European competitions at Manchester United's stadium.
Additionally, Olabarrieta also has a connection with Andorra, as we faced him last season. In fact, the young Basque attacker was the scorer of the goal in our first defeat of the season against Bilbao Athletic.
Overall, Aingeru Olabarrieta played 30 matches last season –two with the first team– and scored five goals.
