FC Andorra's sports management announces the signing of Oier Olazabal. The Basque goalkeeper, who will turn 34 in September, arrives to complete the tricolour goal after the departure of Raúl Lizoain. He signed for two seasons and arrived on a free transfer after breaking away from Pafos in the Cypriot First Division.
Oier Olazabal (born 14/9/1989) is a Spanish goalkeeper with a long career in professional football. Trained in the youth categories of his hometown team, Real Union, Oier made the leap to Barça at the age of 17 to play for the reserve team. He spent seven seasons at Barcelona and despite not establishing himself in the first team – he made his debut against Mallorca in the 2008/09 league – he later made his career in LaLiga with Granada, Real Sociedad, Levante and Espanyol.
Oier played last season for Paphos in the Cypriot First Division, in his first experience outside of Spanish football.
