Manel Royo: "There are enough games left to compete for everything"

Manel Royo, who arrived in the Principality on Sunday and was able to watch the team's match against Ourense from the stands, was presented to the media this morning.

Statements by Manel Royo

"The feelings with which I arrive are very good because I believe in the project and in the level of the team. It is one of the squads with the most quality and now it is up to us to demonstrate it and move up in the table to achieve our objectives."

"When the Andorra option arose I didn't have to think about it much. I wanted to return, but only with an ambitious project and clear goals. This club could give me everything I was looking for."

"I define myself as a defender, whether left center-back or full-back, with quality with the ball, who enjoys associative play and built up from behind. I think these qualities fit with Andorra's style since it entered professional football."

"For a new player, it is an added incentive to join a team with an important collective challenge. This gives us extra strength and desire to say: we have to achieve this."

"I think that in the last few games we have already seen an Andorra with a very clear line of play. We need to refine the final third and recover our scoring ability, but with solid foundations and a defined plan it will be much easier to achieve it."

"There is a very young squad, especially in attack, with players that we will see for many years in higher categories. We have to help the older players and push them to continue growing and become better players."

"The feelings of the team and the staff are very similar. We didn't win the last game, but out of 100 we would win 99 because we are a dominant team and we played the entire game on the opposite field. There are enough points and games left to compete for everything."
