FC Andorra's sports management announces the arrival of midfielder Jorge Pombo from Racing Santander. The Aragonese player arrives free after leaving Racing Santander and signs until the end of the season.
Jorge Pombo (Zaragoza, 22/2/1994) is a midfielder trained in the youth categories of Real Zaragoza who played the last season and a half in the ranks of Racing. He has experience in the first division after promotion with Cádiz, although in his season in the top flight he did not quite find the necessary continuity (12 appearances and one goal in the league and three more matches in the cup) and went on loan to Oviedo the following season.
In his last experience, Pombo was an important player last season in the ranks of the Cantabrian side, in the team's return to the second tier. He made 32 league appearances – making 26 starts – and scored four goals. This year, however, he has only played two games.
Pombo is a footballer with a lot of technical ability and talent, good driving and great hitting and can play both inside and in attacking positions.
