Andorra suffered their third consecutive defeat in LaLiga Hypermotion after losing 1-0 in Pucela against Real Valladolid, in a match where the tricolors ended up clearly dominating but were unable to find the reward of a goal. An own goal was enough for the Valladolid team to take all three points.
The match was decided very early, when in the 12th minute a lateral free kick crossed into the area ended up in their own net in an attempt to clear by the defense. From there, the first half was highly contested, with chances for both teams, although the game was mostly dominated by Real Valladolid, who had the best opportunities to extend their lead. Pau López responded solidly between the posts to keep the score at a tight 1-0 at halftime, in a match that remained very open.
In the second half, Carles Manso opted for a three-man defense with the introduction of Lautaro Spatz to gain offensive presence, and the team showed a different face. In the 50th minute, Hugo López threatened with a volley from a corner rebound that grazed the post, and four minutes later Golubovic, who had come on at halftime, finished off a good tricolor combination after a backheel pass, but still couldn't find the net.
Andorra kept pressing insistently: in the 63rd minute, a cross from Moró Sidibe led to a great header from Hugo López that the visiting goalkeeper saved with an excellent intervention, and in the subsequent rebound, Hugo Solozábal once again grazed the post with another shot. The tricolor dominance continued in the following minutes, with the team creating danger mainly from the flanks through full-backs and wingers.
In the final stretch, Golubovic had two more clear header chances: in the 77th minute, from a cross by Carrique, he once again grazed the post, and in the 80th minute, another header of his went just wide. Andorra ended up dominating all the final minutes, pinning a Real Valladolid team that was unable to leave their half, but the great second half by the tricolors was not enough to earn any points, and the match ended 1-0 in favor of the home team.
