Ferran Costa: "Last Thursday the team transmitted what we want to be"

Andorra played a cup match last Thursday, but football doesn't stop and this Sunday the team will repeat at Estadi Nacional, in this case in a league game against Osasuna's second team. And coach Ferran Costa was optimistic about transforming the good feelings of the last game into a good result tomorrow.

"What I know is that the club, whatever happens and whatever the weather conditions, will do everything possible to ensure that the match is played as normal. We'll see how everything progresses in the next few hours, but whatever happens the club will do everything possible to ensure that the match can be played."

"I think that on Thursday the team spoke on the pitch, transmitting what we want to be. Playing against a team of a higher category and taking 21 shots, having 70% of possession and playing in the opponent's half, taking ten corner kicks and conceding very little is the line that we want to follow. We wanted to win but we didn't have the capacity to transform all that amount of finishes into goals but when you do all this, the most normal thing, and more so with the players that we have, is that this makes you win many games."

"It's a B team that is a little different from those we have faced in this first part of the competition. They are less combinative, with a great physical display, very good at finishing... [...] We must choose the script of the game, we must be the ones who decide what happens in the game and transmit that will and determination to go all out from the first moment of the game."

"It's a week in which we have to make an extra effort and when you accumulate that tiredness in your legs you have to go with your heart and your head. We're playing at home, we want to win, we're coming from a game where in many things we were close to what we want to be and that must be confirmed by playing a very good game on Sunday and winning it."

"There is no clearer message than what was seen the other day on the field. Tomorrow we will go with everything for the three points. We have to take advantage of every attack to make them tremble. We have to transmit that feeling and not let them play. They will also give their all to take the three points, but we must make sure that every time they want to lift their heads they can't."
