Before leaving for the Basque Country, Ferran Costa has analyzed what Andorra will find on his visit to Las Llanas, Sestao. First, he wanted to give a message of encouragement to Alberto Solís, whose long-term absence was announced this week.
#ParauladeMíster | Prèvia vs Sestao
"Alberto's injury is very bad news. When the game ended we were confident that it was nothing major. Unfortunately it wasn't and we lose him for the rest of the season and that hurts us as a team and also for him. What we have to do is overcome ourselves. We knew that during the season there are always circumstances like this, but an injury like this is fucked up. The only thing we can do is to be close to him heat and, if necessary, give extra energy thinking that he cannot help us from the inside. News like this never feels good but we have a mature and very humane group and we will be close to him while we must go to Sestao and play a great game which is what we have to do."
"We knew we had a difficult start with four games away and two at home with very demanding matches. With difficult and very different outings and with games at home against big teams. The start at the level of the calendar was demanding, but we managed to get points in three of the four games and it is key to keep getting as many points as possible to place us in a part of the classification that gives us confidence to continue evolving as a team and look for this line towards our maximum competitiveness".
"One more week we must emphasize that we must understand the type of match and the stage where we are going to play because the context in Las Llanas is a very specific context: a field similar to that of Tarazona, where people squeeze a lot, the field it's smaller and the grass is usually soft. We have to be alive in game situations that maybe last week weren't so decisive."
"It's a competition where every week you have to analyze the game you have to play in order to play the game at hand. We have clear lines of improvement for the team, but sometimes you have to take a small break to attend to what's at hand now. We must have the ability to continue building the team we want and grow in the aspects where we have room for improvement to become the team we want to be, but, at the same time, we must be as competitive as possible" .
"Sestao dominates their stadium very well. With [Ángel] Viadero they know very well what they are playing, they have quality at front with players like Leandro, other very complementary players and at the back they have people with size and physical presence. They are able to carry a high-tempo matches and, moreover, in their field, people cheers a lot. We have to be good at the basics, enter the game well because it is a field where there is no break, there are many set-piece situations that we have to take with a high level of attention and we must have the ability to be winners in duels".
