The tricolour coach has valued his team's draw in the visit of Unionistas Salamanca.

"We had the clear intention of winning and that the three points stay at home. I think the first half has two different parts: in the first quarter of an hour it was difficult for us to have continuity and to be accurate and I think that afterwards the team has grown and has taken control. In the second half we were with the same tone, playing in the opposite field against a team that was very low. But between their defensive work and their well-worked low block, some slips and the lack of finesse we have not managed to convert all the dominance into goal opportunities."
"Manu [Nieto] has already scored. He needed it and we all needed it... the work he was doing was not in line with this situation. He deserved to find the goal and as a team we are happy well because we need him. He has deserved it for weeks and I think it has taken too long to arrive."
"It's a context in which it's not easy to shine. You attack a team that is very difficult to beat, in fact no one has done it for eight weeks. They have a predisposition to make all-out effort and they also have players who are very dangerous with space. Overcoming the first pressure is already complicated, but once we had them down and low it was also very difficult to hurt them. It's a game plan that doesn't help you to be brilliant: you attack against eleven players with very little space and you have to be very precise."
"I see it in two ways: the first is that we've played fourteen league rounds, twelve of them in play-off positions and that means that our numbers allow us to be there. But it's not enough for us and we want more. We always play to win but we need more forcefulness."
