Andorra kicked off the 26/27 season in LaLiga Hypermotion with a resounding 5-1 victory against AD Ceuta in a match marked by rain. The tricolors started slow but improved to secure a big win, earning their first three points of the season.
After an evenly matched start, with a shot hitting the post from Ceuta in the opening minutes and several dangerous chances from the tricolors, Jordi Cano opened the scoring in the 33rd minute. The Barcelona-born forward thus inaugurated Andorra's goal tally for the season and scored his first goal as a professional footballer in his debut wearing the tricolor jersey.
In the second half, Carles Manso's team sealed the match. Thomas Carrique scored the second goal after a brilliant backheel assist from Jordi Cano, while Nacho Quintana netted two goals coming off the bench. Jordi Escobar reduced the deficit for Ceuta in the final stages, but Álex Calvo closed the scoring with the definitive 5-1 in added time.
An excellent start for Andorra, beginning the championship with a big win and great feelings in front of their fans.
