A tie in the last away game

Andorra got a point against Leganés in his last away game of the season in a match that had a bit of everything. Despite the lack of tension, both teams offered an even and funny duel with alternatives in both areas and that could have been won by any team.

Eder Sarabia’s men struggled in the first 15 minutes due to Leganés press, although the locals didn’t have any clear opportunity apart of a shot from Cissé (12’). At 24th minute, Carlos and Hector replied and in the next corner arrived the goal when Pastor jumped higher than any one and opened the score.

From there, the tricolours enjoyed the best minutes with plenty of chances to double the lead before half-time. Keeper Dani Jiménez saved Carlos and Petxa’s strikes, but in the other goal, Karrikaburu didn’t miss his chance and returned the equality in the scoreboard five minutes before half-time.

On the restart, the game was open with chances on both sides, although the best were for the home side. Nico Ratti has been decisive on a couple of occasions, especially after a shot from Neyou, while Karrikaburu hit the post. Meanwhile, in the last minute, Hector had a golden opportunity to score the winning goal, but his shot went over the crossbar in an action in which the Dutchman claimed a penalty.
