Andorra has not been able to continue extending the winning streak and has fallen in Eibar's visit to Estadi Nacional. Ferran Costa's men, who was making his debut in the Principality, managed to resist the visitors' dominance in the first half, but when they were at their best they received two blows from which they could not recover.
Eibar's start was brilliant and in the first five minutes they have two very dangerous actions. The first one, a lateral foul served by Matheus that hit the crossbar, and a few minutes later, Nico Ratti sent a shot from Corpas into the corner. In the 13th minute, a shot by Molina was saved by a defender and from there, the tricolour team managed to stabilize the game and calm the momentum of the visitors. Just before the first half an hour, Alende headed too loose and was injured in that action, and in the last move of the first half, Pampín's shot did not find the goal.
In the second half, just in the first minute, Karrikaburu had the clearest chance for the home side, but his shot was deflected by a defender. Andorra seemed to have started strongly, but in a misunderstanding in the middle of the field, the Basques took advantage of the opportunity to open the score through Bautista (52').
The goal hurt Andorra, although Eibar took a step back and did not prove to be very dangerous on the counterattack. Until the 69th minute arrived and an action that could have changed the game in favor of the tricolours ended up becoming the final blow for the visitors. Álex Calvo made a good individual move and the referee awarded a penalty after the winger fell inside the area, but after looking up the VAR screen he ended up rectifying his decision... and in the play immediately following, in a long pass from goalkeeper Luca Zidane, Bautista collected the ball to beat Ratti and secure the win.
