This team knows how to get down into the mud and be efective when necessary and in a match completely conditioned by the rain and the state of the playing field, Andorra has got a golden triumph against Sestao. A penalty provoked and converted by Lauti, who once again played a key role coming off the bench, was enough to unbalance the game. Of course, goalkeeper Oier was also providential in the first half, saving a penalty.
Rain, rain and rain
Once the referee whistled a downpour started to fall and that completely conditioned the game from start to finish. It was necessary not to make mistakes, work hard and take advantage of the opportunity when it arrived... And the truth is that Andorra has adapted well enough to the game after a hesitant first few minutes. Although it was impossible to combine, Ferran Costa's men have found a way to move the game to the opposite field and have tried with some shots from Álvaro Martín, Almpanis and Sergio Molina.
When Andorra was at its best, however, Sestao was awarded a penalty in an isolated play. It was the perfect opportunity to unbalance the game, but at the key moment Oier Olazabal appeared saving with his foot the penalty shot by Leandro. From here and until the break, the tricolours have accused the scare and have not appeared again near Iago Herrerín's goal.
At the restart the duel has not changed. In fact, it has made the state of the pitch even worse; the center lane still allowed for some driving, but the ball wasn't rolling down the wings. The changes, by the way, have given Andorra some boost despite suffering a scare in a dead ball in the penalty spot, but the local attacker's shot was easily saved by Oier.
And when it seemed that everything would end in the tables, Lautaro took advantage of a pass from Joel Arumí to stand in front of Herrerín, and the goalkeeper tackled him inside de area. Lauti himself converted the penalty and gave Andorra three golden points.
